Today is Workers Memorial Day. This year, across Ohio, AFSCME Council 8 members are mourning the loss of two of our own brothers from Local 759 in Struthers, Ohio. Ken Stiver and Gary Wilson died following a March 1st explosion at the Struthers treatment plant. It's a stark reminder that the fight for safe jobs is unfinished business. As famous labor organizer Mother Jones said, we must "Pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living".
