Progress, not Victory... Mayor Aftab Pureval acknowledges a lack of "victory" regarding crime. State of the City is unsafe.

Mayor Aftab Pureval delivered Cincinnati's annual State of the City Address Thursday, where he looked back on his first term and outlined his goals for the next four years. The mayor said public safety will be a top priority. He called recent violence in the city "unacceptable," saying tough decisions were made, such as implementing a curfew and boosting officer presence.

The state of our city is....

Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval will deliver the annual State of the City Address tonight at Cincinnati Music Hall.

Last week, Pureval defeated challenger Cory Bowman to secure his reelection as the city's mayor.

When we spoke to Pureval before the election, he reiterated public safety, affordable housing and city services like pothole repairs and snow removal as top priorities for his second term.
