🚧 June is National Safety Month 🚧
At First Star Safety, safety isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something we build into everything we do.
This week’s focus is Moving Safety Forward: Building a Proactive Safety Culture. Creating safer jobsites starts before the work begins — through planning ahead, recognizing hazards, communicating with your team, and making sure everyone has the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
Whether it’s proper PPE, traffic control planning, clear signage, or daily conversations around jobsite risks, every proactive step helps protect the people who keep our communities moving.
Because the best safety practices don’t just prevent accidents — they help ensure every worker makes it home safely. 🧡💚💜

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
This Memorial Day, First Star Safety extends our gratitude to the heroes who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day. As we gather with family and friends, let us also take a moment to reflect on the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our fallen service members.
From all of us at First Star Safety — thank you to those who served and especially to those who never made it home. ❤️🤍💙

Mental Health Is Safety. Period.
In construction, we talk a lot about physical safety—but the reality is harder to face:
👉 Construction workers have one of the highest su***de rates of any industry
👉 More than 5,000 construction workers die by su***de each year
👉 That’s more than jobsite fatalities combined
And yet—too often, it goes unspoken.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re calling on our industry to treat mental health the same way we treat every other safety risk: seriously, proactively, and without stigma.
Long hours. High pressure. Physical strain.
These are real challenges—and so is the impact they have off the job.
Check in with your crew.
Look out for your team.
Speak up when something feels off.
Because getting everyone home safely doesn’t just mean physically—it means mentally, too.
