This month is going to real special for me.

At Onslaught II, I will be running an Intro to Event Photography class on Friday morning of the event! This will be the first time I have ever ran a class at any Belegarth event.

The class will focus on how one can get started taking photos at a Belegarth event, from practices to weekend-long events. In addition, I will go over what one will need to start shooting, an overview of how to shoot, and some personal tips from having done event photography for almost a decade.

This class is open to both newcomers who have barely touched a camera, and to established photographers looking to brush up or provide advice of their own. Bringing your own camera and marshall's tabbard is not required but it is HIGHLY recommended; If we end up having time, I plan to bring folks onto the battlefield in the woods so they can get some hands on experience with shooting.

My class will be one of the first classes scheduled at Onslaught II, with a start time of 10AM on Friday morning of the event. If anything happens, or if this start time proves to be too early for folks to join, I will adjust this accordingly the day of the event. But for now, plan on showing up at the established time slot!

The second Geddon album is here! This covers the Squad Games 7v7 tournament that was held this past Saturday. This was a blast to watch, and even more of a blast to take photos of!

Ran by Wolfmarrow, Squad Games pits two teams of seven as they aim to take control of as many control posts as possible within a short amount of time. Whoever ends up with the most points wins. The matches were extremely intense, but fun to watch. There were moments where things got too wild, but there was a good team of marshalls on hand to make sure things didn't spiral out of control.
