All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission facilities, including agencies, road test sites, and inspection stations, will be closed in observance of the upcoming state holidays:

Before scheduling your road test, make sure to:

1. Check the permit expiration date. If the permit is or will expire before the road test date, schedule an appointment to renew the permit here. https://telegov.njportal.com/njmvc/AppointmentWizard/15
2. Make sure you are entering the correct validation number. This five-digit number is handwritten on the permit.
3. Make sure the knowledge test scores are valid. Knowledge test scores are valid for two years from the date the test was passed.
