It has become a tradition within the fire service that on Labor Day weekend, firefighters from all across the United States to help raise money to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This year, the Circleville Firefighters will be joining in the fight against muscular dystrophy by have a Fill- The- Boot Campaign at t
he Circleville Fire Station. Friday August 31, 2012 through Monday September 3, 2012, which us Labor Day Weekend, firefighters will be in front of the station collecting money in fire boots. All you need to do is pull onto the ramp in front of the fire station and donate however much you are able. This money will then go to benefit children with MDA.

This year, Scioto Valley Coffee has partnered with the Circleville Firefighters to help make this event a success. When you make a donation at the Circleville Fire Department, you will receive a coupon for $1 off your next purchase at Scioto Valley Coffee located at 216 W. Main Street Circleville, Ohio. This coupon will be valid until September 8, 2012. So you can make a small donation to a worth while cause and get a coupon to enjoy great food and beverages!

The last Fill the Boot event the Circleville Firefighters held we were able to raise enough money to send a child with MDA to camp. Let’s all chip in and see if we can at lease accomplish the same goal and make a difference in the life of a child with MDA.
