I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported us so far this season!

Out of 4️⃣4️⃣ fertile eggs 3️⃣8️⃣ have hatched. Thats an amazing 8️⃣6️⃣% hatch rate! 👏🏻👏🏻

We have had 31 blue/selfblue(lavender) poults ▫️and 7 black poults ▪️. On average there is a 25% chance poults will be black due to the blue being a splash breed. Our ratio as of now is 22% so we are right on track.

We’ve gotten some great feedback that all our little poults are doing great and thriving in their new homes. We love to see pictures if you have any to share!

Poults are still hatching every week. Cuteness overload!! 🥰🐥

What a surprise today! First turkey eggs of the season. Has anybody told them how cold it’s been? 🥶

You can definitely see the size difference between the older hens and younger hens this year. The egg sizes between 1 and 2 year hens is significant.

Guess it’s time to get the incubator out! 🐣

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅🏻

With the new year quickly approaching we are gearing up for a the new turkey season this spring! 🦃🌸

Last year our turkey hens started laying in early March. So we expect to have some cute little babies come April 2025.

Of the 12 poults we kept last season 10 have made it to adulthood, and as of right now it looks like we had a 50/50 split of toms and hens. With more hens this year - we hope to have more turkey babies come hatch time! 🐣♥️

So right now, we do have about 5 young toms that are looking for new farms. Want to fed and grow your own turkey for thanksgiving next year? These toms will get around 25lbs live weight by next year - around 15-18 lbs in the oven. Please message for details!

Please note: for some reason our turkeys like standing out in the rain rather than their nice dry big barn. Below is a picture taken when they are dry and pretty. Currently they are dirty boys.
