Sitting here trying to edit this picture to be perfect to show and celebrate our 25th anniversary, it hit me. It ain’t about this picture it’s what’s in it. 25 yrs of blood sweat and tears. Long nights wondering how we’d pay the bills, workin til my hand bleed knowin I had mouths to feed. Great nights we never wanted to end and “ Baby , I’m preganant again”. I bought us a hose and she made it a home. Me goin without lunch at work so our babies could have what they needed and her never complaining we had nothin.
Walking around the delivery room with my little girl that she gave me in my arms and 20 yrs later walking her down the isle. She gave me a son and 2 girls who surprise me everyday. She gave me forgiveness when I didn’t deserve it. More important might be what she took , she took me from a life of sin and showed me a loving god that wants the best from me and for me. No …….No I don’t think I can fix this picture. It’s just like it’s supposed to be.
2 people , through good and bad, still loving and forgiving and wanting the best for each other after 25yrs .
I’m right we’re I’m supposed to be. Thank you Jesus for this woman I don’t deserve but I’ll never take for granted again. Love you baby…….
