Greg Crolick hints at the idea of his daughter Ava Crolick one day taking over the reins of the 14-year-old Chappy.

“I still want to keep him for the bigger derbies, because that’s his forte, but I think he will become even more famous having Ava riding him around and do better than me,” said Greg with a laugh. “It’s nice to watch what you’ve produced and created, and then see it go and also be a star in another ring with your child.”

What a week for Amy Mulrenin’s KINGWEIS WV! Greg & “Ken” had top placings in both WEF 11 International Derbies, finishing 12th in Friday’s $15k Hunt & Go and 4th in Saturday’s $50k two round derby. Ken went 2nd in the order in the finale derby and earned top scores of 93 & 96 to win the first round! We are so proud of his consistency all circuit.
