Stressin’

It’s been chaotic to say the least. Between high blanket volumes, long routes, limited space, weather, delayed supplier shipments, employee searching, and wedding planning; we’ve just about worked ourselves to the bone. Most of our days begin at 7am and end at 9pm. No weekend breaks, if any.

Hustling gets you results, but it sure does drain your energy. Anyway, if we’re slow to respond, it’s probably because we’re busy wrestling a horse blanket, driving, or arguing about where to eat at 8pm. 😂

Packed to the brim with 200+ dirty blankets and we can’t even start laundering due to the WEEK OF RAIN we’re getting. 😩

We know you’re enjoying the warm weather, but don’t forget about those stinky blankets sitting in the barn!

The earlier you send them in, the better. It’s nice to have fresh, clean, packaged blankets hanging out in your barn until winter time!

Supporting your local equine businesses is important to keeping the horse industry alive.

So many times — especially recently — you’ll see tack shops, farriers, vets, fitters, equine cleaning businesses, and more shutting their doors. Most of the time it’s due to retirement, lack of money, and lack of support.

These business owners are not corporations. They are real humans behind the wall or screen. They’re just like you, walking amongst you, except they take on a different responsibility.

How do we support and keep trusted local equine businesses?

Shop there.
Recommend folks.
Write kind reviews.
Go to their events.

Many of us put a TON of time, care, and effort into developing a better community. Making B2B connections is more important than having competitors. We partner, sponsor, and support a LOT of barns, tack shops, and other equine services, and they do the same for us.

If you want to keep your local equine businesses, go support them in any way you can!

We need to mention this again:

Please do not tape, pin, or staple order forms to blankets/bags. Orders with forms taped, pinned, stapled, or missing will result in a $5 fee per form.

We know this is done with good intentions, but unfortunately it creates several issues. Forms attached to the outside of bags often get ripped, wet, or fall off entirely. Pins and staples can also damage the forms or create safety issues while we’re handling them. We rely on these forms to identify your blanket and ensure the correct services are completed.

The $5 fee covers the additional time required to carefully remove tape, staples, or pins, as well as rewriting forms when they are damaged but still partially legible.

The acceptable and most helpful option is simply to complete the form and place it inside the bag. It keeps everything protected, organized, and makes the process easier for everyone — including you!
