Moonfire Japanese Maple
This upright (to 15') cultivar does well in the heat of the south, retaining it's reddish purple color. We've had record-breaking heat and the leaves on these trees are still as purple as can be. The tree was named 'Moonfire' because the leaves have an iridescent glow especially in full sun.
