Meet Randy Minkoff (‘67), one of this year’s Clayton Alumni Hall of Fame honorees!
Minkoff built several distinguished careers after earning his journalism degree from Drake University. He first joined United Press International, covering major sporting events including various Super Bowls, the Olympics, the Kentucky Derby and several World Series. He later served as an on-air reporter, anchor and talk show host with WGN Radio in Chicago.
Today, he and his wife provide media and communications coaching for elite athletes and professional sports organizations through their firm, The Speaking Specialists. Minkoff is also an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago, where he has created courses in sports broadcasting and multimedia sports journalism.
