I passed by this in my neighbor's trash for a couple of days, debating on grabbing it. I am glad I did. I added a dowel to keep things on the shelf when traveling and it is perfect storage for our RV bathroom!

Have gotten busy on the last bastion of insanity in our house, my workspace! (not to be confused with areas that still need to be renovated) Not done, but in working order now. So, I've been a little creative. Getting old work from college and PTEC, finished, matted and framed.

This past week was all about doors. Installing closet doors that have been cluttering up the house, (they still need to be painted), evening up the base of the front door to install proper weather stripping and creating the new Master Bath entry sliding door.

So excited. Did the waste drain plumbing for the new kitchen sink, by myself, while Hubby was at work. No one was happier than Hubby though, because HE HATES PLUMBING! LOL Dishwasher was hooked up the next day and the installer even said that I did a good job.

So, Russell installed the framing for the reduced window between the kitchen and Florida Room. Initially, I was going to eliminate it all together. But, after I got the view into the Florida Room looking so good, I decided I wanted to just reduce it for the new kitchen. Getting prepared, just needs drywall.

Painting the fireplace was taking forever because of the deep mortar joints. I had a handyman tell me to just use a super heavy nap roller. Well, all that did was suck up a ton of paint and spit all over me. Did not get anywhere near the deep crevasses. So, back to the throw away brush, painting in the joints and rolling the face of the brick. Tedious and time consuming, but the results are worth it. Should have sprayed it when I had the chance!
