🍊 Does anyone else feel like they have orange juice in their blood? 🍊

I do and sometimes I need it replaced in me like IV fluids. This morning after my 5-mile walk , It was hot early and I was so thirsty and dehydrated, All I could think about was one thing… a cold cup of orange juice. 🍊

I stopped at McDonald’s and bought one. Every sip tasted like I was replenishing my blood, every sip tastes like 🏠 home.

Growing up in North Pinellas County , orange groves were everywhere. We all had citrus fruit growing in our yards.
My mornings always started with a glass of orange juice. Fresh squeezed, with pulp is the best.

At school kids could choose apple, grape, or orange juice… and I always picked orange. It was just what Florida kids did.

Like many Florida families, My yard has always had orange trees, tangerine trees, lemon trees, jasmine, and gardenias,they remind me of Gods Goodness and everything I love about Florida.
Even today, when I smell orange blossoms, jasmine, and gardenias, I know I'm home. Those scents instantly bring me back to where I belong.

Sometimes I miss the old orange groves that used to cover so much of our area before neighborhoods replaced them.

So I’m curious…

🍊 Did you grow up drinking orange juice every morning?

🍊 And if you grew up in Florida, do you miss the orange groves and the smell of orange blossoms down every street ?

How about climbing Orange trees when you were real little and getting cut up in the thorns?
