When a nurse had a patient who needed a specific procedure, she realized she’d never performed that procedure before. She wasn’t certain about precisely how to do what she needed to do. That’s when the patient’s doctor, Dr. Paul Frassinelli of AnMed Piedmont Surgical - Anderson, stepped in to help. Rather than having someone else perform the procedure or simply doing it himself, he took the time to teach the nurse everything she needed to know. He explained the overall procedure and guided her through the process step by step.

Now, thanks to Dr. Frassinelli’s expertise and his diligence, the nurse has a new skill and better understanding that will help her and others throughout her career.
