ABR approves home designs in FutureHeights, Rebuild Cleveland partnership - Heights Observer 06/23/2026

Rebuild Cleveland LLC has received unanimous approval from the Cleveland Heights Architectural Board of Review (ABR) for the first two home designs submitted as part of its infill housing partnership with FutureHeights Inc.

The approval advances Rebuild Cleveland and FutureHeights’ shared goal of bringing high-quality, attainable new housing to vacant residential lots throughout the city.

The two approved models are a 1,060-square-foot ranch featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a 1,540-square-foot colonial featuring three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms.

FutureHeights to host Crowdsourced Conversation on school funding - Heights Observer 06/22/2026

How does public school funding really work? Join FutureHeights for a crowdsourced conversation that will explore the mechanics of school funding, including property taxes, state aid, and other revenue sources. We’ll also discuss the vital role public schools play in strengthening our community and examine how perceptions of school quality influence where people choose to live.

The event will take place Thursday, July 30, 6–7:30 p.m., at the Noble Road Library, 2800 Noble Road.
