I used to live with this quiet feeling that life would finally start after I got through the next thing.

After the pressure passed.
After the work was done.
After everything settled down.

But there was always another “after.”

Another reason to wait.
Another problem to solve.
Another version of life I thought I had to reach before I could actually relax.

And if we’re not careful… that becomes the whole life.

Waiting to be here.
