A “fearless” and “faith filled” birth in our culture is undeniably palatable. However, you CAN have both and, as believers, we should… fixing our gaze, fearing the One who is worthy, and trusting fully in his authorship of life.🌿

Saying something is “hard” in our culture is sometimes perceived as a synonym for “bad”… that’s just not truth.

this leads to a multitude of platitudes that pregnant women (especially first time birthers) seek out like “have an easy birth”.

instead of changing the narrative to be more palatable, let’s receive the truth there is behind the real definitions and sit with ourselves and others who have stories of hard AND triumphant births.🤰🏻🙌
