Today, the Tarkington Middle School Band performed at their UIL Concert and Sightreading evaluation, and they did an outstanding job!

The band earned excellent ratings in both Concert and Sightreading, a true reflection of their hard work, dedication, and preparation.

Our Band Directors are incredibly proud of the performance, and it is clear that this program continues to grow stronger each year. We are excited to see the continued progress and success of our TMS Band.

Way to go, Longhorns!

The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing individual.

William R. Collier, 89 years old, has been reported missing from his residence.

1800 Forest Valley
Operating a green John Deere tractor

Mr. Collier has been diagnosed with dementia, and his current whereabouts are unknown. His safety is a concern.

If you have seen Mr. Collier or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
