Our Story

Ferrous Metal Transfer is the transportation division of Ferragon Corp., a metals services company supporting manufacturing supply chains in industries such as automotive and transportation, energy, appliance, construction, agriculture, mining and general fabrication.

FMT provides pickup and delivery services to the customers of our five metal processing sister divisions, serving as an extension of the toll processing services the divisions offer.
We simplify the logistics of getting coils into our facilities and processed steel shipped out, making the process painless for customers.

Having the ability to control the transportation component gives the Ferragon companies end to end control—from pick up to toll processing to delivery—and ensures our customers get the most efficiency and cost savings.

Working in concert with our sister divisions, FMT plays a vital role in our ability to provide JIT delivery and allows us to offer “one call, once invoice” convenience to customers.
