Did you know your lawn care habits can directly impact local creeks, rivers, and storm drains? Following Best Management Practices (BMPs) helps keep your yard healthy while protecting water quality in our community.

Here are a few easy lawn care tips:
βœ… Don’t over-fertilize β€” follow label directions carefully
βœ… Sweep grass clippings back onto the lawn instead of into the street
βœ… Water deeply but less often to encourage strong roots
βœ… Avoid applying chemicals (fertilizers or pesticides) before heavy rain
