Students and staff from Monarch Center for Autism visited Camp Burton for our 3rd Annual Camp MTEP Day! We spent the day outside exploring nature, doing art projects, enjoying games in the field, and playing music. This experience has quickly become one of our favorite days of the year!

This school year, Monarch Center for Autism students Dominic and Makayla, have been volunteering for the Lake County Council on Aging's Nutrition Site located within the Wickliffe Senior Center facility. They work alongside other volunteers in the kitchen cleaning, organizing, plating food, and serving lunch. In honor of Autism Acceptance Month in April, seniors attending lunch listened to a presentation on autism. Dominic and Makayla joined in by talking about their experience at Monarch and their goals for the future. We're so proud of Dominic and Makayla for how well they spoke in front of the large group and how hard they've worked at the Nutrition Site!
