Oops, wrong week! 😅 I came out to see our team helping put on a Mind Challenge at City of Wickliffe Community Center and discovered that the event was last week. Doh! But I got to see this amazing senior center and what awesome programming they offer for brain and body health! Meditation! Wii bowling! Zumba-ball?! And they have our fliers there alongside other resources. Check out this community!🙂

Wow! Congratulations to Case Western Reserve University's Jonathan Haines, our lead Investigator on the DAWN project! For next steps beyond DAWN, Dr. Haines has been awarded a $6.2M grant to identify genetically driven therapeutic targets for Alzheimer Disease! The grant project will leverage the massive whole genome sequencing data from the increasingly multi-ancestry Alzheimer Disease Sequencing Project (ADSP) and Alzheimer's Disease Genetics Consortium (ADGC) datasets for analysis to reduce the list of 1,800 potential drug targets. The five year study will culminate in a set of drug targets with the greatest potential for the prevention, slowing, or cure of Alzheimer disease.
