Think about the last time you picked something heavy up off the floor. Did you set up your feet and body like you do when you squat, or were your feet wider than usual, maybe a foot rotated out and the other straight? π§ In our everyday life we donβt always think about picking something up with βgood formβ. Most people, those who arenβt pro powerlifters, donβt think about foot position and bracing when picking something up. So to make sure we stay strong in all planes of motion, we need to train that way! πͺπ½
Changed up my foot position on squats today. One leg stepped slightly forward the other rotated out to the side, and spine slightly rotated. Give it a shot and work in multiple planes of movement in your training!
