It's an oral rabies vaccine, meant to protect wildlife and communities from rabies. They're harmless to people and pets, but if you find one near your home, follow these steps to properly relocate it:
⚠Wear gloves or use a paper towel to pick it up.
⚠Toss intact baits into a fence row, woodlot, ditch, or other raccoon habitat area.
⚠Wash your hands with soap and water after any skin contact.
