some of you know i have a background in healthcare communications / marketing / public service. a career i loved & worked tirelessly to build. i hit a point where i was completely burned out and couldn’t give more of myself to (especially while baking my own little baby muffin).

fast forward nearly seven years and recently i reallly started to miss that work.

i don’t believe things happen for a reason (but maybe a little bit in serendipity). i think our hearts & minds are more open to the things we need than we sometimes realize.

so, the super fun news for me personally is that i’ve joined an incredible healthcare consulting team where i’m honored to work on projects all around the country helping all sorts of organizations improve their systems to improve care for people. 😍

so, this means a lighter baking calendar for me through the fall & holiday seasons this year and a reimagined 2024 (virtual bake sales, ordering windows, front porch bakery cart? not sure yet but we’ll figure it out.)
