Gear Up. Honor the Legacy. Embrace the Spirit. | U.S. Coast Guard Veteran Owned Apparel Company

On June 6, 1944, the U.S. Coast Guard helped change the course of history.

While many remember the soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy, fewer know that approximately 800 Coast Guardsmen were among them. Coast Guard crews piloted landing craft through enemy fire, delivered Allied troops to Omaha and Utah Beaches, evacuated wounded servicemembers, and performed countless acts of courage under some of the most dangerous conditions imaginable.

Fifteen Coast Guardsmen made the ultimate sacrifice on D-Day. Their service is a reminder that the Coast Guard’s legacy extends far beyond our nation’s shores. From the beaches of Normandy to today’s missions around the globe, Coast Guardsmen have always answered the call when it mattered most.

Today, we remember those who served, those who sacrificed, and those who never came home.

Today, we remember the men and women who never made it home.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It’s a reminder that freedom, family barbecues, days on the water, and quiet moments with the people we love all came at a cost paid by others.

To those who gave everything in service to this country, we remember you.

To the families who carry that sacrifice every day, we honor you.

Things I weirdly miss about the Coast Guard…

Standing watch exhausted.
Coffee that somehow tasted amazing at 2am.
Getting underway before sunrise.
Laughing through absolute chaos.
Hearing flight ops overhead from time to time.
And honestly… having a crew that felt like family.

Funny how the things you couldn’t wait to escape can become the things you miss most.

What’s the one thing you miss when you got out?
