Jillian, one of our recent rescues, gave birth Thursday to two little boys. Welcome to the world Mark and Joanah. Named after two of our closest friends.

Fireworks and animals are always a trial. I love the fireworks but the animals are terrified of the sight and sound. Lary Carl, our biggest goat, always hide behind the chairs on the porch. We spend our time comforting our terrified friends while watching the fireworks around us.

We all have bad days. So many things can impact our mood: work, relationships, health, self perception, and so much more. Find that small spark that brings you joy and hold onto it. Just when I think it is safe to go in the house, you feel the eyes of Lary Carl upon me. He politely requested a snack. He knows Mother is a sucker.

We had a slight drop in temp yesterday before the rain. Jolene tried to get everyone to play. They said nope.
