🐴 Is your child asking to learn how to ride?

A trial lesson at Georgetown Riding Academy is the perfect place to start! No previous horse experience is needed. During their 30-minute private lesson, new riders will learn the basics of grooming, tacking up, and riding with one-on-one instruction.

Our lesson program is designed to help riders build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun while spending time with horses!

Day 1 of Boot Camp was a success! 🐴✨

We kicked off the morning in the saddle, working on different riding exercises to help our riders learn how to better rate and control their horses’ speed.

After riding, we had a great hands-on lesson about the farrier’s job. Each rider even got the chance to practice trimming on our minis, Luna and Cupid!

We finished the day learning all about clipping and why it is an important part of horse care and show preparation.

It was a busy, educational, and fun first day. We can’t wait for the rest of Boot Camp! 💙
