What an AMAZING weekend together at our annual Three Rivers Collaborative All Gathering. What a blessing it was to bring together leaders from across East Tennessee to learn and be in community together. May our world be a more beautiful place because of the work these churches and leaders are doing to bring the Kingdom of God into our communities, churches, & cities!

What a special last few weeks it’s been with Three Rivers, five different Learning Cohorts meetings, a retreat on mental health, individual meetings with pastors, doing new research on the Church as whole in the US, and the beginning of a new Undivided Cohort! Needless to say we feel blessed to be able to get to do this work with all you churches, pastors, church leaders, and community leaders! We can’t wait to see what the rest of 2025 holds for us!

Three Rivers is grateful to have received Phase I of the Trinity Health Foundation Grant in the Serving the Servants Initiative. Three Rivers plans to use the first phase of this grant to conduct research on the needs of faith leaders serving in small churches (those with fewer than 100 people) and the needs of faith leaders in historically African American Churches.
Thank you, Trinity Health Foundation, for helping us further our work in Knoxville and the surrounding areas.

What a blessing to share with them and hear from their incredible leaders! Thank you for your hospitality, an amazing meal, and the gift of being in your space.
A special thanks to Presiding Elder Rev. Dr. Richard Gadzekpo, for allowing us to speak and to Three Rivers own Rev. Tiki Dixon for inviting us. It was an honor.

Q1 with Three Rivers!
What a great start to 2025!!
We started the year with a board retreat as we think about the future of Three Rivers.
In Feb & March we hosted another Undivided Cohort for church and non-profit leaders here in the city.
We celebrated Black History month at their event The Black Church-Sacred Legacy.
We’ve had a blast with our cohorts and in their learning communities.
We’ve taken some big steps for board and fund development and can’t wait to see what this means for the future of our work here in Knoxville.
There’s still lots of 2025 left and Three Rivers has some exciting things planned!

Last week Three Rivers hosted some of our pastors in the mountains at our Seasons of Calling Retreat. It was great for us to hear from Hugh Halter and to spend time together, ask hard questions, and better understand where we may be in our calling. Thanks for all who joined us, and we pray that this was an impactful experience for you.
