Sargent juniper

A low-growing, spreading evergreen that’s great for groundcover, slopes and erosion control. It forms a dense, mat-like habit with soft, bluish-green needles that stay attractive year-round. Over time it can spread several feet wide while staying fairly low (typically 6–12 inches tall), making it a solid choice where you want coverage without height. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It is low maintenance once established. Avoid heavy pruning into old wood because it won’t regrow from
bare stems. It is deer resistant.
