The truth is, the most important skills your puppy learns aren't obedience cues.
They're life skills.

✨ The ability to cope when things don't go exactly as planned
These are the skills that help prevent future behavior problems and create dogs that can navigate the world without having a full-blown existential crisis every time something unexpected happens.

🐾🚨 Puppy Socialization Myth Alert! 🚨🐾
If you've been told your puppy needs to meet 100 people, 75 dogs, 12 squirrels, a marching band, and the entire population of Cleveland before they're 16 weeks old... we need to talk. 😬
Somewhere along the way, people started confusing **socialization** with **saying hello to everyone.**
But socialization isn't about turning your puppy into the Mayor of Dog Town.
It's about teaching them that the world is safe.
A puppy calmly watching people walk by? Socialization.
A puppy enjoying treats while a garbage truck rumbles past? Socialization.
A puppy learning they don't need to greet every human, dog, bird, and leaf they see? Also socialization.
In fact, forcing your puppy to interact with everyone can create the very problems you're trying to prevent.
😱 Fear.
😱 Frustration.
😱 Over-arousal.
😱 "OMG MUST GREET EVERYTHING" syndrome.
