The Hulett Hotel, Arriving 2022
The Hulett Hotel will be a boutique hotel in the Ohio City Neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. The hotels design take influence from mechanical ore unloaders devised by Cleveland Inventor George Hulett that populated the Great Lakes during the regions industrial prime. An existing 19th century three story brick building will be retrofitted and augmented by a four story weathering steel clad structure that nods to Cleveland’s heritage. Concepts of privacy and exposure are explored as some rooms are cantilevered over W 25th St. and some windows are masked by metal screens and louvers.
