This week we celebrate volunteers who are committed to advocate for long term care residents. Harry Williamson is a newly certified volunteer ombudsman, "Having more spare time in my life, I was looking for an organization that instilled the purpose of giving back to individuals and families. A very good friend suggested I look for something that would focus on my passion and love for seniors. I couldn't be more satisfied and happier that I'm involved.”

We had a wonderful turn out for our volunteer appreciation lunch at LTCO. This was an opportunity to share impact stories and Ombudsman experiences while enjoying good food and good company. Thank you to all Ombudsman volunteers who are committed to advocating for excellent care and services for long-term care residents. I would also like to thank our staff who support our volunteers in their efforts.
