A bed is being made.
A bathroom is being prepared.
A space is being readied with care, prayer, and intention.
This is one of six new rooms at Laura’s Home—created to welcome mothers and children who need safety, stability, and a place to begin again.
As our staff share in this moment, their excitement is simple and sincere: a family is about to be welcomed, and a new beginning is about to start.
We’re grateful to be part of this work—offering more than a room, but a place of refuge, compassion, and the love of Christ in action. 💙

A heat wave doesn’t just bring uncomfortable temperatures.
For men, women, and children experiencing homelessness, it can become a matter of safety.
Beginning tomorrow through Saturday, Crossroads Men’s Crisis Center will open as a daytime cooling center. Laura’s Home Women’s Crisis Center will offer overflow shelter—providing a safe place to escape the heat, rest, and receive compassionate care.
When the heat becomes dangerous, we’re grateful to open our doors and share Christ’s love — offering refuge, compassion, and hope.
