Did you know that it was France who first introduced the knife to the kitchen table? The knife, previously used as a tool in hunting or as a weapon in combat, now saw its place among other familiar cutlery, such as spoons.

When machines are out of balance, it is possible for the cutting tools to wear unevenly, thereby delivering a rough or poorly finished product. When this is detected, have the cutting tools sharpened and balanced or tighten the machines before restarting operations.

Every year in California, there is an International Saw Music Festival, and a "saw-off" competition is held. There are other saw music festivals held throughout the world.
