Established multi-provider practice in Grosse Pointe area seeking a Full-Time Medical
Assistant.

Duties include: Medical Assistant and Support for Integrative Provider & Physician (D.O.) such as
• Assisting with rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, injections, blood draws, and other minor medical procedures as directed.
• Preparing patient charts, reviewing test results, and gathering missing information.
• Communicating with patients and providing coordination of care with other providers in the office.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, work as a team, and maintain a positive attitude

Desired candidate must be willing to be trained in responsibilities relative to
Phlebotomy, Admin support, patient coordination & communication and clinical
support to patients on behalf of providers.

Must possess excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills, a positive attitude and a team member mentality.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Dermatology office in need of an experienced medical assistant or new medical assistant program graduate.

Part time 20-30 hours per week (10 hour days) with the potential of full time.

Office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7 AM - 5 PM and Wednesday 7 AM - 8 PM. Shift days may vary.

Fast paced office.

Duties include scribing provider notes (must have great typing skills) in EMR, assisting in procedures, some front desk work, processing prior authorizations and other paper work.

Front desk experience is a plus.

Experience in dermatology is a plus.
