Face Addiction Now

Today, Face Addiction Now recognizes Juneteenth, which marks June 19, 1865—the day news of emancipation reached enslaved people in Texas—and commemorates the beginning of the final chapter in ending slavery in the United States.

We also honor the strength, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation’s history.

As we reflect on this important day in our nation’s history, we reaffirm our commitment to compassion, dignity, and ensuring that all individuals and families have access to hope, support, and recovery.

We encourage our community to take time today to learn, reflect, and celebrate. 💚🖤❤️

Yesterday, FAN's Anthony Elia had the opportunity to present to the Macomb County Health Department's STI/HIV team about the programs and services available through Face Addiction Now, including our Hep C Cures program.

The discussion highlighted how FAN supports individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder through prevention, recovery support, harm reduction, treatment navigation, family services, and more.

We're grateful for opportunities like this to strengthen community partnerships, share resources, and work together to improve health outcomes across Macomb County. 💜
