Troop 361 - Scouts BSA

Congratulations to Scout Floyd on passing his final Board of Review and earning the rank of Eagle Scout!

Floyd led a group of volunteers through planning and executing an Eagle Scout Service Project to emplace over 160 flag holders at veterans graves at the cemetery in Arapaho, Oklahoma. Floyd’s rank will be officially awarded at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor, date to be announced.

This achievement represents years of hard work. Floyd is the troop’s 104th Eagle Scout since the troop was founded in 1949. Great job, Floyd!!

Elections play a crucial role in a youth-led Scouts BSA Troop, allowing Scouts to take ownership of their leadership journey and practice the decision-making skills needed for success.

Tonight the Scouts elected their new Senior Patrol Leader (SPL), the youth leader of the troop, and each patrol elected their Patrol Leader. The SPL, with the advice of his Patrol Leaders appointed the remaining officers.

Congratulations to our new troop leaders! We look forward to your leadership and commitment to making our troop even stronger.
