2 Ladies (aka Chicks) helping Baby Chickens (aka Chicks) in CT. We do education and outreach and assist fellow flock owners as needed.
Rescue Life is hard and sad sometimes. You work so hard sometimes to no avail. But every time someone tells me that my advice saved their flock or their chick can walk because of it. Every time one turns a miraculous corner and escapes the brink of death it is a reward. We always try to keep the video stuff light and fun, but the real work is frustrating and messy, verrry smelly often, and needs loads of cleaning; brooders, feeders, waterers, medical supplies... and butts, lots and lots of poopy butts or worse.
We have over 70 birds in our care right now and they almost 50 are ready for homes now, and a bunch more in a few days! So please adopt because we are at capacity!
