Had a great show at Lucille’s, spontaneously went bowling in my concert clothes with some new and old friends (hi Emily!) and had so much fun. Then bf and I celebrated our 1 year of officialness together at Weekapaug Inn - our favorite wine spot. Honestly their bubbly rosé is to die for.
Feeling incredibly grateful to our friends at Lucille’s for giving me this show opportunity (and for the delicious spicy breakfast sandwich!!!) and I hope we will have many more shows to come in the new year!!
Right now June 2026 is starting to fill up for bookings but I am so willing to play and teach just about anywhere right now even if it’s a further drive - it’s my mission to continue sharing my music and following my pop star dream. Sometimes there is no other way than just lugging the equipment, putting in the practice, and making it happen. Maybe I am crazy doing this work, but it fulfills me like no other thing, and I only wish more people had the courage to get up on stage and sing their hearts out.
We leaned more towards the Christmas tunes this time but I as super excited to get the positive feedback on the originals!
Sending you lots of love and Christmas cheer 🥂

Of these 103 songs, 40 have been officially released. (10 of those are coming out 11/2!)
Why not more?
Mainly due to funding constraints, finding the time, and my own perfectionism. I hope to release them all officially, one day, and maybe build my own home recording studio back up again to save $ long-term. For now, I plan to continue writing and making live videos, and when I have the resources (or friends) I will hire recording engineers in the meantime, as they yield better results, than I could recording on my own. Still researching music masters programs, haven’t decided which aspect I’d like to focus on most for my future development, music business, music ed, or music production.
Why did you write 100 songs?
I heard that that was how Ed Sheeran got his start in fame - “persistence, not perfection.” I was also inspired by an old friend from Berklee Alyce Merin, who’s been striving to write 1 song EVERY DAY, so everyone would get a new song on their birthday.
What I was astonished to discover in pursuing the “100 song challenge” is this: it got easier, not harder. I thought I’d run out of ideas, but it turns out that 1 idea can lead to 10 more, like those circle diagrams they teach in 4th grade reading. I want my students to know that the only limit is your imagination! 🏞️

New album releasing to all streaming platforms… November 2nd!!! 10 original songs… a unique cross between country and jazz - a journey from coast to coast, love and loss, and empowering tales of career changes, multiple selves, a lone wolf cowboy named Dean, and finding that abundance mindset, which has kept me going in my music career. I hope you’ll like it; this was strongly influenced by Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter,” and the vision was brought to life by Simon Apex at Shrine Studios in Vegas and my brilliant New London photographer Carrie Roseman! My hope is that this album will help people feel like they have a friend to talk to and confide in, someone to share their struggles with, and to also provide hope for a better future. It’s to inspire ambition in people young and old, and help us find togetherness in an increasingly separate society. We want to make change for peace and success, and give working class people a voice in the turmoil. We want to continue my mission of empowerment, not just for women but for all genders and backgrounds. This is my first mostly-acoustic album - although I did include some keys upon advisement from my producer, and popular fan request. The crossroads poses a question - is any path really the perfect one? Rarely so, but it’s always better traveled with friends 😊

Shoutout to my boyfriend Joe, in case some of my friends haven’t met him yet. He doesn’t have social media as he does not want to be bothered, lol but wow… I cannot believe it’s been ALMOST a year since we met… it’s been a wild journey. My gen z self can’t get rid of Instagram because I was a loner til I found my friends on here when I was 13. I love how we’ve stayed connected through the years in miraculous ways. About how Joe and I met, a common question we get asked:
I didn’t really go looking for love, at the time, I was looking for an escape. I spilled water in a coffee shop, in hopes he’d look. We kept bumping into each other. I had quit my job, and also just lost my grandma last November. Meanwhile… he was flipping off the record player. I thought he was crazy. He thought I was crazy because I had actually talked about moving to Florida with no plan (I didn’t even tell my parents!) because I am not a cold weather person! (Hint: best gift for me is always something warm this time of year!) I didn’t know what was next, but around the corner he came. He was confident enough sitting down that his magnetism pulled me away from dancing with another guy! He had this cute denim jacket on and kind eyes. The other guy actually thought we looked more like a couple anyway and thought we were official, but we’d only hung out once before then. On our 3rd date, he accidentally bled on me… and I didn’t hate it! He won me over with a theatre show + introduced me to good wine. I used to be a vodka girl, but I’m forever changed. On Dec 22nd, he asked me out. The best thing is, our families are similar, so it wasn’t really hard to break the ice. I think the sense of belonging, safety, and “feeling at home” is hard to put into words. He writes good poetry and talks for radio. Our friends want us to write a song together but our song is currently only a quarter of the way done (I’m waiting on him for more lyrics!) the song title is “Glowing Flower.” The world has seemed dark and dreary at times, and both of us agree that love is not the most practical thing in the world, but it is probably the strongest.
