No Dallas County results yet, but it doesn't look like I'll be on the City Council come January. Congratulations to Eric and Sadie on their victories. I learned a lot and I'll still be around! Thank-you to all who supported, placed signs, and spoke to your friends and neighbors on my behalf.

A call for food help from Clive Community Services

🚨 URGENT: Our Food Pantry Needs Your Help! 🚨

The government shutdown means many families won’t receive their SNAP benefits — and furloughed government workers are now turning to food pantries as their paychecks are delayed.

As we head into November — our busiest month of the year — Clive Community Services expects to see more families than ever before, including many who have never needed our help until now.

🛒 Shop the sales at Hy-Vee, Aldi, or Walmart — even one can or one box makes a real difference.
💛 Make a financial donation and earmark it for food purchase only — 100% will go directly toward keeping our shelves stocked.

📦 Donation Hours:

Monday: 9:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
