Update on The parking lot!

Guinn Street Parking Update

We’re making great progress on the parking lot! Here’s what has been completed so far:

Gas, water, and sewer line improvements
Installation of transformers
Underground conduit and communication lines
Transition from overhead to underground utilities
Relocation and upgrades of meter boxes
Concrete pad with electrical service for a shared compactor
Concrete light pole bases (“reveals”)
Concrete islands
Concrete walkway
First layer of asphalt
Parking lot lighting

Next up:

Second layer of asphalt
Compactor enclosure
Compactor installation for trash
Line striping
Bollards

More updates coming soon as we continue moving forward!

Also… did we mention the second well we discovered, the mystery pipe that made a surprise appearance during asphalt work, and the many other “fun” finds along the way? At this point, nothing surprises us, but we just keep on keeping on, working toward an end product we can all be proud of. It will be a great accomplishment with a lot we had to work through, and it’s all part of the beginning of Clover’s revitalization… with more great things to come.
