Analyzing Weather Data

6th graders in Mrs. Faulkner’s Science classes have been studying the weather and collecting data all year. They collect weather data daily and then at the end of each week, they analyze the data charts and create an overall weekly summary. At the end of the school year, they design a 9 month analysis. This week students are answering questions from their own year-long collected data such as the days that had the highest humidity, highest and lowest temperatures and lowest and highest wind speeds.

Reading With a Purpose

6th Graders in Mrs. Littlejohn’s ELA classes have been working on their book study projects this week. They could choose their project from these options; diorama from a scene in their story, decorating a bag and including 8 objects to represent the story, a map to describe the setting of the story, a mobile of symbols to explain the plot or a mini-bloom ball!
