Throwback to three years ago (HOW has it been three years?!) when I got to collaborate with .farms on our 'Merica Minis! The May family joined us, dressed perfectly...and Dad didn't even realize he was dressed identical to a Bomb Pop until we pulled them out for the kids! Happy Independence Day and 250th Birthday, USA! 🇺🇸 🎉 🎇 And I am going to miss this sweet little family, who is moving to NC so that Dad can pursue his dream job as head baseball coach at Barton College! Good luck! 💕

Sometimes my favorite photos aren't the perfectly composed ones with sharp focus...they're the ones that show true joy and emotion, like this one of Sarah at her reception. This was in the Summer of 2021, which for many, was their first big event post-Covid lockdown, without masks and fear. Not only were people excited to be celebrating Sarah and Austin's marriage, but they were also excited to be able to enjoy themselves freely in a large group of people. I know that's how it was for me! Whenever I look at the photos from this reception, I automatically remember the experience and joy we all felt in that moment. Just one of the reasons why I love what I do. 😊

Announcing: HEIRLOOM PHOTOS! I learned how to do something new! As I prepare for my photography business to become my full-time career, I am excited to share that I am adding heirloom photos to my offerings!

Ever since I was a little girl, I was fascinated with heirloom photos of my mother as a toddler. The chubby little cheeks, the cute little curls… And when my son Timothy grew into a toddler, I recognized those same features in his face! Without those heirloom photos from 70+ years ago, I would have never noticed the family resemblance.

Heirloom sessions capture the features, expressions, and personalities you'll want to remember forever. Created in a classic portrait style with a soft white background and delicate fading edges, these images celebrate the beauty of childhood and beloved pets in a way that feels both simple and enduring.
