A moment of silence
Breath held by all
The radio crackles --
This is the Last Call
Holding back tears
Officers form a blue wall
Hands held in salute --
This is the Last Call
A child sits silently
Hands clenched in a ball
Wishing Daddy was there --
This is the Last Call
Sobbing, but strong
His Widow stands tall
With a flag in her hands --
This is the Last Call
A dispatcher's voice
Steady and calm
Yet full of emotion --
This is the Last Call

You gave us your all
Godspeed and Goodnight, Sir --
This is the Last Call"
