We have 11 puppies on the ground! Here is a picture of the babies and the puppy area. The babies are in the front area so I can clean their space and then place them into the back where they stay with mom. We are doing supplemental bottle feeding for the 3 littlest ones to ensure they have what they need to give them the best chance at survival. However the rest of the litter is plump and happy!
We do attach names to our puppies and will be placing tiny colored puppy collars on them tomorrow. The names are easiest for us for identifying them along with the collar colors.
We know that any new potential owners will change them and this is perfectly fine with us!
We are keeping extensive records of each puppy daily. Our records are to help us best fit a potential owner to the dog that is best suited for them.
