Gizmo-cda will be at Car d'Alene this weekend, Saturday June 20th from 8am to 4pm. Come see us in the Young Builders Alley (corner of 5th and Front St.) and learn what Gizmo is all about! We have programs for both kids and adults.

Celebrate the Long Days of Summer with Sun Printing!
6 - 8pm, June 25th

Just a few days after the summer solstice, join us for a creative evening outdoors as we harness the power of the sun to make art!

Sun printing, also known as cyanotype printing, uses sunlight to create beautiful blue-and-white images from the shadows of leaves, flowers, stencils, and other objects. Every print is unique and full of summer magic.

We'll provide everything you need, including cyanotype dye, paper, fabric squares, stencils, and dried botanicals. Want to make your artwork even more personal? Take a nature walk beforehand and bring your own leaves, flowers, or other interesting natural objects to print with.

You can also bring your own light-colored cotton tote bag, t-shirt, or natural fiber fabric item to create a custom wearable piece of art!
