For our Owl Friends program, we listened to a variety of Owl Calls ("Who Cooks for You...Who Cooks for You All?") and then read about a rescued baby owl who learns to hunt meat tied to a paper mouse. Later this little owl returns to its home in the wild. We then made our own owls out of toilet paper rolls. *-*

We set up water bins in our Reading Garden with toys and ocean sponges. With shade and water, we started off this heat wave with good vibes and water play!

To kick off Summer Reading we hosted 'The Sugar Shack Creamery' who brought their tasty goat cheeses and yogurt smoothies. They also brought 6 baby goats! If they are held horizontally with support, they go into a serene state. The children also caught the vibe of ease and wonderment! What a magical event!

Join us for outside Water Bin Play and socializing for small children. We will meet outside in our Library's Reading Garden. There will be bins filled with toys for play and tactile exploring.
