Court of Claims Chief Judge Michael Gadola this afternoon handed Michigan House Republicans an early win by issuing a preliminary injunction blocking the state from spending $645 million in work project funds. This includes funding for Governor Whitmer's anti-gun "snitch line" defunded last month in the House Appropriations Committee by Rep. Phil Green (R-Millington).

Gadola ruled that the House Republicans demonstrated a likelihood of success on the merits and would suffer irreparable harm absent court intervention. The early ruling shows that Attorney General Dana Nessel may not prevail with her opinion we posted here last week.
